About me

Hi, I’m Liza Makarenko, a 3D artist specializing in modeling, set dressing, environments, and visual storytelling.

I previously worked at Pixar Animation Studios as a TD Set Dresser and Modeler Intern on Toy Story 5, where I gained experience working within a professional feature-animation pipeline.

​

My personal work focuses on stylized characters and environments with strong atmosphere, storytelling, and detail. I enjoy taking projects from early modeling and sculpting through texturing, lighting, set dressing, and final presentation.

My thesis film, Beautify, was selected as a finalist for the Student Academy Awards, nominated for the College Television Awards, and recognized as a finalist at SIGGRAPH Asia.

I’m a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design’s Computer Animation program and am currently focused on opportunities in 3D modeling, set dressing, and environment art.
